Matt Kuglin

Matt has over a decade of experience in the mortgage industry and has been a part of Onward Home Mortgage since March 2020.  He was the #2 producing loan officer in the state of Georgia in 2025. Currently, his team is the #1 producing team at Onward Home Mortgage and Matt was named the 2022,2023,2024 and 2025 Top Individual Loan Officer for the volume and number of homes closed. 

His career began at American Equity Mortgage where he was awarded “Rookie of the Year” in 2012. Matt previously worked at Southpoint Financial Services where he won awards for “Top Producer” and “Outstanding Producer” multiple times for overall units and volume closed.

Matt is a Georgia native and grew up in Metro Atlanta. He graduated from Georgia College and State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Matt and his wife, Rachel, currently live in Alpharetta. They had their firstborn daughter, Reagan, in June 2020 and second daughter, Camille, in 2025. In his spare time, Matt enjoys golf, playing in an adult basketball league, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. His favorite places to travel are Scottsdale, New York, and Santa Barbara.
